As an online seller on Flipkart, it is extremely important that you mark your seller holidays and identify your working hours to promote ease of doing business and avoiding any undue hassles. Marking your holidays in advance has three primary benefits:

2. Pick-up reattempts are significantly reduced as they do not take place on marked holidays.
3. The buyer is made aware of the delivery date well before placing the order.

The underlying principle behind marking your holidays before they are due is that since an average buyer’s decision mostly relies on the date of delivery, it helps him/her make an informed choice. In addition, delivering within time makes you much preferred as a seller as well.

Marking your holidays on your Flipkart account is quite simple. Here are the steps that you need to follow:

1. Login to your seller account on Flipkart.
2. Select ‘Manage Profile’ from the dropdown menu.
3. Select the calendar option and click ‘View’.
4.  Set your working hours from the options.
5. Once it is done, select your weekly offs from the menu. In case you do not select any day, Sunday is considered as an off by default.
6. Make sure that you save your changes.
7. In the next step, add your holidays or vacations.
8. By clicking the ‘More’ option, you can also view the entire list of your holidays that you have added until now. It is advisable that you do not take too many of them at a time.
9. Enter the duration and the reason for a holiday and save your data.
